SPEM – Requirements Gathering and Technical Conception

 Initial Situation & Objective

The processing of customer inquiries was characterized by a high degree of manual effort, a lack of standardization, and strong dependencies on software vendors. At the same time, high time pressure and a growing need for process expertise created additional strain on day-to-day operations. Further challenges included the risk of knowledge loss, difficulties in staff recruitment, as well as long processing times caused by existing software solutions.

The goal of the project was to establish a structured and reliable foundation for the further development of the software landscape.

Specifically, this meant:

  • structured and comprehensive requirements gathering
  • consolidation of functional and technical requirements
  • development of a future-proof technical target vision
  • well-founded assessment of technical feasibility
