Kooperationsforum Bordnetze 2025
At the end of October, we attended the Bordnetze 2025 Kooperationsforum in Munich. The event brought together experts from industry, development, and research to discuss current developments and challenges in vehicle electrical system and wiring harness development.
For us, the forum provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen existing relationships, engage in new conversations, and gain different perspectives on the future of the industry.
Many discussions focused on topics that are currently of great importance to numerous companies:
⚙️ Managing increasing product variant complexity
⚙️ Ensuring data quality and consistency throughout development processes
⚙️ Automating testing and validation processes
⚙️ Digitalization and integration of engineering data
⚙️ Efficient collaboration between engineering, IT, and manufacturing
A particularly interesting topic was the exchange on how companies are addressing the growing complexity of modern vehicle electrical systems. Once again, it became clear that technological solutions alone are not enough. Equally important are end-to-end processes, reliable data structures, and close collaboration across different disciplines.
In addition to the technical presentations and discussions, the personal conversations were a key highlight. Direct exchanges with industry peers often provide valuable insights into current challenges and emerging solution approaches.
We would like to thank Bayern Innovativ for organizing the event, as well as all our discussion partners for the engaging conversations and open exchange of ideas.
The Bordnetze Kooperationsforum remains an important platform for us to stay informed about developments in the industry and to help shape new ideas for the future of vehicle electrical system development together.
